About Us

Radha Swami Institute for the Visually Handicapped (RIVH) is a non-profit residential school based in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, devoted to transforming the lives of visually impaired children through education, empowerment, and care. Established with deep compassion and a strong commitment to inclusivity, RIVH stands as a beacon of hope for children who are blind or visually impaired—especially those from economically underprivileged communities.

At RIVH, we believe that every child, regardless of their physical limitations or financial background, deserves access to quality education and a life full of possibilities. Our institution provides completely free education, vocational training, residential care, and life skills development in a safe, nurturing environment. From academic learning to practical skill-building, we focus on the holistic development of our students, helping them gain confidence, independence, and a sense of purpose.

Our dedicated team of educators, caretakers, and volunteers work tirelessly to create an inclusive space where every child is encouraged to dream big and strive for excellence. Through personalized learning approaches, modern tools like Braille and assistive technologies, and a strong foundation of moral values, we equip our students with the resources they need to live fulfilling and self-reliant lives.

Mission

Our mission is to empower visually impaired children by providing free, quality education and comprehensive support in a residential setting. We aim to nurture their talents, enhance their self-reliance, and prepare them to become confident, capable, and contributing members of society.

Vision

Our vision is to build a world where visual impairment is not a barrier to success, dignity, or opportunity. We aspire to be a model institution that inspires change, breaks social stigma, and promotes equal rights and access for all differently-abled individuals.
